BIOGRAPHY Robert 'Hubi' Hofmann is a professional music producer and musician from Abensberg, Germany. His musical journey began in 2004 with his first live/band and production experiences, soon followed by the launch of his own Ø Studio and label Hate 206045 Records in 2005. From 2006-2009, he studied at Bass School Munich, earning his diploma as bassist. During the time, he founded Radio Haze (9 LPs/EPs, toured with ZZ Top, Uriah Heep, Nazareth, Ten Years After, Graveyard), and joined GumoManiacs (9 LPs/EPs, toured with Sepultura, Blaze Bayley, Leaves Eyes, Anvil), while also playing with a variety of rock/metal bands, cover/wedding acts, and big-bands. Between 2009-2012, he studied at Music College Regensburg, graduating as music educator. He also worked as studio engineer and session bassist for drummer/producer Stephan Ebn and film composer Christoph Zirngibl contributing to numerous TV and cinema productions for leading indie and major labels. From 2012-2015, he pursued his studies in music production at Berklee College Of Music and has since been producing, mixing/mastering at his own Slash Zero Records studio and label. Following advanced training at Mastering Academy, he became a certified Apple Digital Masters engineer. In 2020, Hubi founded Slash Zero Coaching to help DIY artists and bands get pro-sounding tracks from home without wasting years on trial & error (even if they don't have a fancy studio).
